Job Summary

As an Insurance & Claims Manager, you will be Zeeba’s superstar insurance guru who will partner with our CX, Operations, and Sales departments to provide the best experience for our clients for insurance auto claims. The ideal candidate has experience negotiating and dealing with insurance providers, assessing accidents, providing comprehensive and objective analysis, processing insurance claims from A to Z, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and can work independently with little to no oversight.

Reports To: Director of Operations

Status: Full-time Exempt, Hybrid (require work in the office 2 days a week)

What You’ll Do:

  • File all new loss/damage claims.
  • Conduct accident assessments and analyses based on facts and statements to best position Zeeba in the collection of damages. 
  • Collect estimates, photos, and evidence for each claim from all involved parties, including Zeeba personnel and clients
  • Conduct collections from clients and/or insurance companies for open and processed claims.
  • Complete follow-up on all outstanding claims
  • Submit court filings for small claims for cases for or against Zeeba
  • Keep track of important dates and deadlines pertaining to small 
  • Complete compliance reports, revenue reports, and loss reports
  • Assess insurance offerings, e.g., CDW, Liability, and Collision coverage, and determine work with Sales/Marketing to provide the best products to our clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

About You:

  • 5+ years of work experience where you have delivered exceptional customer service
  • 5+ years of working in the auto insurance & claims industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships, manage a team, collaborate with HQ, and inspire others
  • Must pass the drug screen and a background check
  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial sciences, accounting, finance, or legal studies preferred
  • Greater Los Angeles area residence

Salary: $65-85K/year, plus incentives and potential bonus.
